ISTRA CORPORATION COMPANY
History
ISTRA Corporation was founded in Taipei City in 1995.
The initial share capital was USD500,000 and has grown to USD2,82 million, staff personal increased from 3 to 22 members and our current annual turnover has grown from a modest USD700,000 to USD40 million dollars in 2019.
Our core business is ferro alloy trade, products include Ferro Vanadium, High Carbon Ferro Chrome, Low Carbon Ferro Chrome, Ferro Silicon, Ferro Molybdenum and other alloys.
We are also the distribution agents in Taiwan for KROSAKI HARIMA refractories, HITACHI METALS rollers, and the sole distributors for STEETLEY Dolofrit products from the LHOIST GROUP.
In 2016, we branched out into the consumer product market, and are the sole distributors for sports/recovery clothing brand VENEX WEAR in Taiwan(Till 2020/11).
Our Head Office is located in Taipei and have a branch office in Kaohsiung. We have warehouses based in Taichung and Kaohsiung, conveniently located near the major ports.
Our global customer base includes partners in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
